Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
1. Introduction
RollDay ("RollDay," "we," "us," or "our") provides field-service scheduling, dispatch, and related software for contractors and their customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use rollday.io and our related applications and services (the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Account data — name, email address, password, company name, role, and billing details.
- Customer and job data — customer names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, equipment notes, job schedules, service history, and related business records you or your organization enter into RollDay.
- Mobile / SMS data — mobile phone numbers used to send service-related text messages (for example assignment confirmations and technician on-the-way notices), message content we generate for those notices, delivery status, and opt-out preferences (such as STOP replies).
- Payment data — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Usage and device data — log data, approximate location derived from IP address, browser or device type, and similar technical information needed to operate and secure the Services.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- Schedule jobs, dispatch technicians, and communicate about service appointments
- Send SMS / text notifications related to jobs when enabled by your organization
- Process subscriptions and billing
- Provide customer support and respond to requests
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and comply with law
4. SMS / text messaging
RollDay may send transactional, service-related text messages to mobile numbers that you or your organization provide (for example, appointment / assignment confirmations and technician "on the way" updates). These messages are sent on behalf of the contracting business using RollDay.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are used only to deliver the service-related messages described in this policy and to operate and support the Services (including through our SMS providers).
Message frequency varies. The number of messages depends on job activity for that customer (for example, when a job is assigned or when a technician is on the way). You may receive multiple messages related to a single appointment or visit.
Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of RollDay SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, you will receive a confirmation and we will stop sending further SMS to that number, except as required to confirm the opt-out or as otherwise required by law. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as follows:
- Service providers — vendors that help us operate the Services (for example hosting, authentication, SMS delivery, and payment processing), under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.
- Your organization — if you are a technician or team member, information may be available to owners and dispatchers in your organization as part of normal product use.
- Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of RollDay, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to customary confidentiality protections.
As stated in Section 4, we do not share mobile numbers with third parties for those parties' own marketing.
6. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. SMS logs and related delivery records may be kept for operational, compliance, and support purposes.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. Account holders can update much of their information in product settings. For SMS opt-out, reply STOP as described above. To make other privacy requests, contact us using the information in Section 11.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
